H-E-H ??

H-e-H-isms are the rantings of an Egyptian monkey raised in the grimy backstreets of east London. This monkey wakes to find a warm climate replaced with cold, umbrella-reversing gales; fuul has become bacon and eggs; and the exotic and seductive eastern beauty is now a 4-foot-high pensioner called Doris...

Character of a Happy Life

How happy is he born or taught
That serveth not another's will;
Whose armour is his honest thought,
And truth his highest skill!

Whose passions not his masters are,
Whose soul is still prepared for death;
Untied unto the world with care
Of princely love or vulgar breath;

Who God doth late and early pray
More of his grace than gifts to lend;
Who entertains the harmless day
With a well-chosen book or friend;

This man is free from servile bands
Of hope to rise, or fear to fall;
Lord of himself, though not of lands;
And having nothing, he hath all.

Sir Henry Wotton (1568-1639)

Fuck your environment

http://www.anhri.net/en/reports/2008/pr0608.shtml

Seems Egyptians can't even blog about protecting the environment without risking jail. And even more disappointing that an Indian company kissing ass is out to get him.

Remove Sharon Stone from the planet forthwith

So she said 70,000 Chinese died in an earthquake because it was their 'karma.'

Is this for real?

"And then all this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and I thought, 'is that karma - when you're not nice that the bad things happen to you?'"

Fuck her and her white middle class American ass. Is it really karma she wants to come at her?

Because if that’s the case – and by the same unsophisticated logic – lets see her and all of middle America flattened in a natural disaster, because her tormentor country deserves a brand of karma tenfold worse than what she thinks China got.

All good things are conceived by walking

"Above all, do not lose your desire to walk. Every day I walk myself into a state of well-being and walk away from every illness. I have walked myself into my best thoughts, and I know of no thought so burdensome that one cannot walk away from it."

Dubai PLC

Dubai – a city built on the PR of middle managers from Essex.

Never before have I been to a city where so many nationalities live alongside each other, yet never truly integrate.

It’s unique, in fact.

It has been billed as the most international and cosmopolitan city where over a hundred languages are spoken. But, for those who argue against multiculturalism, they have a case in point in Dubai.

On a general level Brits, South Asians, Filipinos, Arabs, Americans – all live incubated lives, unwilling to mix with the other. Meanwhile, the world hears of a melting pot of cultures where all are tolerant of one another.

The quicker people wake up and realize it is a city built on fabrication – both physical and ideological – the better.
